30 weeks!

This picture was taken at 30 weeks and 3 days.

Time seems to be flying by- These little girls will be here in 8 weeks or less! I went to the doctor and I'm measuring at 36 weeks (if I were having a singleton)-hearts are beating and lungs are breathing and they look healthy! We are watching their weight gain, so I starting to go to the doctors office every week to watch their development- Baby A was a happy 3lb 4oz while Baby B is kicking a little smaller at 2lbs 9oz. We aren't too worried about the size difference but we are keeping an eye on them to make sure the babies keep on being healthy!

New developments between week 29 and 30- Swollen feet= not attractive, but not so bad

Finished 'End Cap'

If you wanted you could glue the insides of the fabric together to hide the back of the fabric- however, you run the risk of the puff not being so puffy. Or you could use a solid colored fabric so you would not be able to tell the difference of front and back.

Thanks to the 40"+ of snow

I've been able to work on the nursery details!

Above is a picture of the materials I used to create the 'end caps' to the curtain rod.

I used:
leftover fabric from the bedding (cut into circles)
2- 2" Styrofoam balls
hot glue gun

How to:
1. Push the Styrofoam ball into the curtain rod creating a hole deep enough for the ball to rest on w/o falling off- I pushed mine about 3/4 of the way through
2. Take your circle fabric and fold it in half (pattern side showing)
3. Fold the fabric in half again (it is now in quarters)
4. Put hot glue on the Styrofoam ball
5. Press the point of the fabric into the glue and hold
6. Repeat, repeat, repeat (don't cover the hole you made earlier)
7. Place on the end of the curtain rod

If I were a baby...

this would be my view; five hopping kangaroos!

Snow Days are for making progress in the twins room!

Well we are expected to get around 24" of snow between today and tomorrow, so nursery projects it is!

What's on tap?
1. "Two" theme wall art
2. Mobiles
4. Wash clothes
5. Organize the dresser

I also bought a few books to read in between projects, hopefully they will be good ones since in a few short months reading books for pleasure will be a thing of the past.
