And Another That

Halloween costumes- finished tonight at 10:46 pm. Thanks for the extra and able hands mom! Now off to bed before the big day tomorrow!

The Thises And The Thats

So much to do and so much done. Went to IKEA today to solve our living room storage issue so now that mom and dad are on their way over and my tired babies are already in bed I might just enlist their help to build the shelves we bought since Greg is at school.
I have reorganized the girls toys for the new shelves and I'm pretty excited about that. Two light bulbs have been changed in the kitchen this evening and I'll have all the laundry done in the next 90 minutes. I am starting to feel accomplished. And by the end of the night I plan on having #3's bed made (not too hard) and the girls packed and ready for their stay at The Farm. All in a days work here at my procrastinating house :)
Gotta jet for now if I want to get all of this done plus some last minute cleaning. As well as installing some car seats into Ban-pa's truck.

Hi, Doggie

I'm just going to watch you for a little
while.

A Moment In Bethesda

The girls and spent a beautiful afternoon in Bethesda while waiting to get my oil changed. We walked around Bethesda Row and the girls loved seeing all the dogs being walked and the birds that were fluttering around the area.
We went to the bookstore to stretch our legs and play a little. Kaylee was occupied with the train table while Alex was less interested in the trains and more interested in the stuffed toys- namely Eric Carle's Brown Bear. Alex bounced from the table to the stuffed toys and made sure sister had a stuffed toy to enjoy as well. It was so sweet seeing Alex pick out a specific toy to bring to Kaylee- her final choice was Spot the Dog....Kaylee thanked her sister for the toy but sadly didn't pay too much mind to it.
After our bookstore outing we had a bite to eat at Cosí...ps. Their cookies aren't worth the money. The girls got one with their meal and I ate it, and it wasn't worth the calories, I just hope #3 enjoyed it :)
Needless to say the girls were amazing all outing- we are truly blessed to have such happy and fun children. Can't wait to have 3 to brag about :)

Future Chef?

I'd be okay with that. Kaylee will make herself at home in the closet and quietly and happily sit and read this one baby food cookbook our Gigi let us borrow. Kaylee did find a good recipe for cheese sticks that I will try out once things settle down here a bit.

Can I Eat This?

Let me study it first, then put it in my mouth. The usual for little Alex.

What To Bring To The Hospital

I packed sparsely last time I was there and it will be the same this time around. My main things to pack are my iPhone and laptop (maybe). Other than that I might just pack a change of clothes and call it a day- I look forward to the hospital socks so I don't need to pack those :)

I'll still think about other things I might want to pack...there is still time to figure all that out we have 22 hours before I have to be at the hospital.

Where Are The Keys Mom?

We are ready to roll so let's get moving!

We Were Cooking

Yesterday was so productive...and it's about time :) I hadn't been really motivated to do any work for our soon to be arrival, and Greg has been busy with school work, paid work, and daddy time. But when the girls took their nap Greg and I got busy. Durning that time a crib was built, peacock, peacock tails were started, a table was painted, laundry was cycling, and spaces were being cleaned. It felt great. We just have a few things to move and adjust before the little one comes home. It is almost time!!

My Little Pumpkin

Adorable. That is about all I can say :)

Another Gnome Adventure

Gigi sent us some more pictures of the Gnome on his adventure. Alex started the adventure do there are more pictures of her with her friend.

Where Are The Others?

Only a few white lines remain of what was possibly a mom or dad and or a child...
My sister said it was due to a tragic accident at Disney :) any other ideas?

Chalk It Up

After a good afternoon of playing in the streets of the 'hood the girls weren't quite done so I pulled out the chalk and we played a little longer on our stoop. They enjoyed it and I did as well until someone thought it would be a good idea to draw on our screen door. Luckily it has been pouring down rain for the past hour or so at least :) now I don't have to clean up their mess- those rascals!

Progress

With only 3 weeks until baby arrives it is about time I get something done for her arrival! I am currently working on this painting for her room.

In addition to the painting I bought her a soother and I found out that IKEA is now selling their cribs again. So while I don't have a crib right now knowing it is in the store seems like progress to me :) and that is just about all of an update I can give you for now. Hopefully more progress will happen.

Roaming Gnome

The girls-namely Alex, took our neighbors sweet gnome on a walk today. I think he had a good time enjoying the new views.

Morning Doodle

The girls were itching to draw this morning.

Fun Day Out

The girls and I headed to Warrenton to stop by a consignment sale for a soother for #3 and anything else that looked of interest. On our way to town we picked up grandma and had some fun. We did the consignment sale-kinda a bust, but I got the soother-stopped by Sears and got new shoes and sippy cups and then headed to lunch! The girls were worn out and are currently enjoying a nice nap :)
